I was hiking along this tundra zone trail shortly after sunrise on a cold, gloomy looking morning, crabbing about not being able to see much of anything through the low clouds and rain. I happened to turn around and saw the rainbow appear magically as the sun poked through a small hole in the clouds. I barely managed to get this picture before the hole filled again and the rainbow faded and disappeared. It made my whole day.
